She has managed diverse roles - executing various initiatives, activities, projects across sectors while engaging with multiple stakeholders. Sunita started her career in Advertising and has since transitioned into the Education sector, spending the better part of a decade in school education seeking to make a social impact. She moved on to a management role with leading Industry bodies of the country, engaging with policy makers, members from the Indian industry, educational institutions and civil society. In her previous assignment, Sunita was heading Academic Markets (India) at a global not-for-profit professional membership association. There, she was responsible for developing long term, value driven relationships in the area of professional development.

Being a “People’s Person” helps her to build solid relationships with various stakeholders including senior officials, volunteers, NGOs and most of all relate with students, who she believes, hold the key to the future.

Sunita enjoys meeting new people, organising events, travelling, reading and music.
