MIF 1.0 (Jan 2008 - Mar 2019):
MIF’s journey has been characterized by the ethos of Sevabhav and giving with dignity. The vision was to provide quality, affordable and accessible healthcare and make a difference to the lives of the underprivileged community in India. With the Group’s strong presence in healthcare, MIF was able to provide a 360-degree approach towards holistic healthcare.

MIF was successful in addressing key challenges by making several impactful interventions on ground, be it through health awareness camps, immunization programs, health centres, cancer support, high end surgeries/treatments and even providing free artificial limbs & polio callipers to the needy! The Foundation also adopted two village clusters in Uttarakhand – Dhakrani and Chandrothi and one in Punjab – Rail Majra, primarily for intervention on health-related issues such as sanitation and waste management to improve the quality of life for villagers. Since its inception, the Foundation has benefitted over 34 lakh people in over 800 locations in partnership with more than 450 NGOs. Looking back this has clearly been a decade of meaningful work in Healthcare for MIF 1.0

MIF 2.0 (April 2019 onwards):
Moving on... in a new approach, MIF has identified Education as its new area of focus as Education is an area of paramount concern in India, not only due to the lack of quality schooling but also due to the lack of focus in values like empathy and compassion. The focus of the Foundation is to facilitate, monitor and ensure quality and value-based education to underprivileged children. MIF 2.0 will thus support the creation of opportunities by empowering children in need with quality education to help them build a bright future. This will empower them to stand an equal chance for further education and job opportunities, thereby transforming their lives and those of their families and contribute to nation building.
