Max India Foundation believes that Immunisation is the most cost effective Public Health intervention, since it provides direct and effective protection against preventable morbidity and mortality.
Childhood immunisation has been an integral component of Primary Healthcare facility since 1978; however, vaccine coverage in India still remains a matter of concern. Max India Foundation aims to fill in this gap of immunisation for underprivileged children, with one vaccine at a time.
Our Pan India Immunisation Program is one of a kind in the country that provides free of cost immunisation to the underprivileged children and protects them from several life threatening diseases. In each camp, children aren’t just provided a shot of vaccine, but are also checked for vitals and any delays in their developmental milestones. Additionally, children and parents are educated about the importance of vaccines for prevention of diseases.
The program has successfully protected 163285 children till August 2018 with comprehensive immunisation of DPT, Hepatitis B, Measles Mumps Rubella and Typhoid. Additionally we have started vaccination against strains 6, 11, 16 & 18 of Human Pappiloma Virus infection from March 2018. This provides protection for the girls between 9-14 years from cervical cancer.
